Pharmarama International Ltd (formerly BR Pharma Limited) was set up in 1997 by Ben Rabin. Ben is a pharmacist with 40 years experience in both retail and wholesale pharmacy in the UK.
The company began by supplying unlicensed pharmaceuticals on a named patient basis to pharmacies and hospitals. We first specialised in supplying medicines for the treatment of ADD/ADHD and this quickly grew to an extensive portfolio of unlicensed medicines for a number of different conditions.
Having established a foothold in the market of unlicensed products we then extended our expertise to other areas:
• Sourcing and procuring pharmaceutical products for clinical trials
• Pre-market launches
• Dealing with temporary supply problems and discontinuations
The company has tripled in size in the last year. We occupy a large warehouse with secure vaults and use sophisticated barcode and SAGE inventory and financial system and a bespoke business management system. We also have a licensed Pharmacy.
We have been successfully audited by government bodies, pharmaceutical manufacturers and clinical research organisations. We are a very accessible company, receiving enquiries from manufacturers, consultants, GPs, pharmacists and patients. Our strength lies in our personal service and going the extra nine yards in order to satisfy our customers.
