Bridging TSE gap

We were contacted by a hospital after they had attempted to source a product from their usual supplier.

They had been informed by their supplier that the product was only available in the USA and they couldn't obtain a TSE statement to allow them to import it into the UK. The hospital's consultant was adamant that he wanted that specific product so the hospital was desperate to see if we could get this documentation so we could import.

We contacted several of our suppliers in the USA and discovered that one of our suppliers had a good relationship with the manufacturers. They were able to obtain a TSE statement that afternoon and fax it across to our office. With a TSE statement in our hand we sent an emergency application to the MHRA and after receiving approval immediately placed the order with our supplier. From start to finish we managed to turn the order around in less than a week.
